Covid-19
Updated
22nd March 2024.
To reduce the
spread of
Covid-19, your
treatment and
how I work
have been
changed. To
comply with
the rules set
out by the
government,
and the Health
and Safety at
Work Act 1974,
certain
criterias have
to be met.
Based
on the
assumption
that we are
both Covid-19
symptom free,
not
self-isolating
and have not
recently been
in contact
with anyone
showing
Covid-19
symptoms:
- A face mask
or covering
has to be worn
by both the
patient and
therapist upon
request.
-
Hand
sanitising gel
will be
provided upon
entering and
leaving the
premises
-
Increased
ventilation
e.g. having
doors open
Following treatment:
- Any
couch covering
to be removed
immediately
and
disinfected
-
Whole
treatment room
to be
disinfected with Viraspray (NHS
approved
sanitiser)
between
appointments
and aired for
30 minutes
-
Visor disinfected
after cleaning
the room
Whilst this is
a cautious
approach, I
hope that you
will support
this by
continuing the
use of a face
mask when
requested,
respect social
distancing and
the general
standard
operating
procedures
outlined
above.
